As robotics technology begins to enhance our lives, we must ensure that safety and reliability are paramount in an ever more complex environment. Automation and artificial intelligence research offers the prospect of failure prevention by increasing the number of fail-safe mechanisms available and by delivering critical information to drone pilots.

A group of student researchers at Heriot Watt University have compiled a survey for commercial drone pilots and operators to help deliver the technology needed to improve the current state of the art in drone services.

Please take 5 minutes to have your say. We are interested to know what concerns and experiences you have had with the current technology on offer.
