Last year High Trees led a consultation which gathered the views of 350+ local people and involved Tulse Hill, St Martins and Deronda tenant and residents associations in the recruitment and selection of an artist for a section 106 art commission. Tine Bech Studio have now been commissioned by Lambeth council to create a new piece of engaging, permanent outdoor public artwork, located on the edge of Tulse Hill Estate, to reflect the wishes of local people.

The artist is making a sculpture tree from street mirrors and street signs titled ‘You are not alone’. The sculpture is inspired by the theme Unity and Community – a theme selected by local people during the consultation.
