INTERNAL DISPUTES RESOLUTION PROCEDURE

You can use this form:

(a) if you want your employer to investigate a complaint concerning your pension benefits

(b) if you want your administering authority to investigate a complaint concerning your pension benefits

(c) if you want administering authority to reconsider a determination made under stage 1.


What are the different stages

LOCAL RESOLUTION
This step gives you the opportunity to raise an informal complaint.
Please note that this stage should be followed before the IDRP process.

IDRP - FIRST STAGE
This step gives you the opportunity to raise a formal complaint initially. 
            

IDRP - SECOND STAGE

You can ask the administering authority to take a fresh look at your complaint in any of the following circumstances:


(a) you are not satisfied with the nominated person’s first stage decision,

(b) you have not received a decision or an interim letter from the nominated person and it is three months since you lodged your complaint,
(c) it is one month after the date by which the nominated person told you (in an interim letter) that they would give you a decision, and you have still not received their decision.
