Introduction

The Royal British Legion is trying to understand how the welfare benefits system works for veterans who have been injured in service and are in receipt of Armed Forces Compensation Payments or War Disablement Pensions. Since 2012, the Government has made significant changes to the way that disability benefits are delivered and we want to find out how these changes have affected veterans. We specifically want to find out about your experiences of applying and receiving benefits, particularly disability benefits.

This survey should take no more than 30 minutes to complete but for most people it will take around 20 minutes. Your views will help us to better understand the issues faced by injured and sick veterans and allow us to highlight areas where the benefits system could be improved for injured veterans.
