Great Britain Team and European events in 2017 |
1. Indication of Interest
In order to gauge interest for players wishing to represent Great Britain in the 2017 European tournaments this survey is being made available to all current Tour Pros (NB: Any player representing GBR next season must be a 2017 Tour Pro - full details of the 2017 membership information will be communicated in the coming weeks)
Each tournament has a different estimated cost (entry fees, flights, accommodation, food, etc) and timescale (anything up to ten days plus there may be additional training days in advance of tournaments). The cost shown against each tournament is indicative, length of trip is also approximate. Players need to be able to finance their own trip.
The BMGA will ensure National Team Kit is provided via our team sponsors UrbanCrazy where required. All players when committing to represent GBR in any of these events will have to attend all official practice days in the run up to an event, along with the competition days as well.
You are also asked to indicate your preferred event(s) and also whether you would wish to attend an event as an official coach only.
If you would like to be considered for more than one event please rank them in order of preference. Please note that selection is not guaranteed. In 2016 a number of players declined their places when selected so please ensure you are able to commit to the tournaments if you are selected.
The survey will close on 31 December - Players wishing to be considered for the 2017 season must ensure they complete the survey by this date.
The Executive Committee will review all the survey results in January and will be selecting the teams for 2017 at the end of January, teams will be announced at the AGM.
