For many people, woods are special places. We would value your opinion

Lost Woods is an exciting partnership project that aims to bring forgotten areas of ancient woodland in Sussex back to life, for the benefit and enjoyment of local communities.

This ambitious project covers the Low Weald in East and West Sussex and is in the planning stages to secure a major grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a further five years.

We will be working with landowners and local communities to rescue these ‘Lost Woods’, boosting biodiversity, creating a more resilient network of trees and a haven for wildlife. As well as providing many opportunities to visit or be involved.

But we need your help! Lost Woods partner Action in Rural Sussex (AirS) are keen to find out about how you feel about woodlands,  if / how often you visit and what you do on those visits.

Your answers will help us plan the project with the needs and interests of local communities at its heart.

The survey will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous, unless you opt to leave your contact details so you can be updated.

Thank you for your time.
