20 mph in Crowmarsh Gifford, North Stoke and Mongewell residential streets
Oxfordshire County Council has recently launched a road safety initiative and as part of this are considering making 20mph the new 30mph for Oxfordshire communities. Full details can be found here. Wallingford has already introduced 20mph speed limits for the main streets in the centre.
Crowmarsh Parish Council has applied to Oxfordshire County Council to reduce the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph in residential streets in Crowmarsh Gifford, North Stoke and Mongewell, excluding the main roads where these are 30mph (around the Crowmarsh roundabout).
