Two Parks Strategy
Creating a strategy for Twyford Hunter Park and Northfields Recreation Area
WE NEED YOUR VIEWS - HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TWYFORD PARKS
Twyford Parish Council have been saving money on top of the ongoing running costs to improve the play and sports facilities at Hunter Park and Northfields. There is currently £30,000 available to improve our facilities, which won't deliver everything we wish for. However, before any money is spent, the Parish Council are seeking the views of the wider community to understand where the priorities lie.
Twyford Parish Council conducted a workshop with representatives of the village, ran by Hampshire County Council. The aim of the workshop was to create a shared understanding and vision for Twyford's parks, to help guide expenditure to develop the spaces. The workshop generated a long list of ideas, which we need to validate and assign priority. We would like your input, to tell us which of the ideas you support, so the Parish Council can decide which of the ideas should be chosen to be implemented. The Parish Council will continue to apply for funding to help achieve some of those aspirations, but obviously not everything can be funded.
Please note, your feedback is anonymous, and is extremely valuable to us.
We thank you for your time and input into an important village project.
