HOW DO YOU DO IT? |
Tips and Tricks and what you'd like to know
Whether it’s getting into your car, putting on socks, dealing with disablist comments or getting up off the floor, we all have our own methods that work for us. We are our own experts. We want to collect your expert knowledge and share it with others, in a Learning Bank. And if you have a specific problem you want help with, you can ask. Because you can be sure that somebody has had that problem before and has worked out a solution. In our Learning Bank, you will be able to withdraw other people’s answers and deposit your own. Some examples of deposits are:
1. Using a plastic key fob allows me to hold my keys in my mouth to keep my hands free.
2. I changed to an electric toothbrush when I could no longer use a manual.
3. When I had to get a wheelchair, because I was working, Access to Work covered the costs.
Some examples of withdrawals are:
1. How do people deal with problems with cold/hot/aching feet?
2. What is the best way to transfer from a wheelchair into a car?
3. What are the best ways to learn to write with your left hand?
