Join us for a special trip to see the Ford MRF

We've arranged a guided tour of the Viridor Materials Recycling Plant (MRF) plant at Ford, near Arundel.  It is one of the most technologically advanced MRFs in the country.

It's on Monday 13th August, from 10.00-12.00am.  We need to be there promptly which means leaving Steyning soon after 9.00am.  We should be able to do some car pooling to save on trips.

Numbers are limited (max 14), and we need to provide an attendee list.  So please reserve a place by filling in this form.

Note that the visit requires a reasonable level of mobility as it involves climbing steps.  They cannot accommodate wheelchairs, unfortunately.  Nor can they take anyone with a pacemaker or heart monitor as the plant equipment could interfere with it.

Visitors are advised to wear sturdy shoes and sensible clothes.  No bags are allowed inside the plant (cameras are OK).

Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis - and booking closes on 30 June.

Here's a link to the MRF website if you'd like to check it out -

Many thanks. Steyning 10:10 Climate Action Group
