AMAP Member Survey |
Over the last few months, as inflation has risen and the cost-of-living crisis has deepened, more and more CTA members have been telling us about their challenges with volunteer recruitment and retention due to the approved mileage rate that can be claimed by volunteers.
We’re calling for the UK Government to immediately review the Approved Mileage Allowance Payment (AMAP), which was established in 2012 at 45p per mile, and looking to work with other organisations to campaign for an uplift to the reimbursement rate which better reflects current fuel prices and does not disincentivise volunteering anywhere in the UK. You can read our statement on our website.

Please complete this short and simple survey – which should take no more than six minutes – to help us gather the data and evidence we need to make the case for change.
We want to hear your views and experiences, particularly if your scheme relies on volunteer drivers.
