At this year's Future Tire Conference, 27-28 June in Cologne, industry leaders and decision-makers will discuss the way forward for automation and integration across the tire-manufacturing industry and its supply-chain.

But recently, at another conference, the tire industry was described as being closer to Industry 1.0 than Industry 4.0.
