European Board of Internal Medicine Training Survey

The European Board of Internal Medicine is tasked to promote the harmonisation of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine across Europe. This information gained from this survey's results will inform our purpose more clearly. There are of course differences in the way we practice medicine between countries and within them. However, there are of course more similarities of the tasks and challenges we face with an increasing elderly population, disease burden and limited resources. This is a wide-ranging survey covering the details of training, procedures and perhaps relevantly on physician burnout. It is important to understand the extent of the impact on doctors and promote strategies to deal with this issue.

This survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please fill this survey out if you are a trainee in Internal Medicine or have finished your training within the last 10 years. If you have done your training then please continue to answer the survey questions in relation to what you understand about the current situation of training in your country

We are grateful for your participation in this survey and thank you for the time spent completing it.
