Introduction

Welcome to the University of Cambridge Staff Travel Survey 2017.
 
Every year the Environment and Energy Section in Estate Management gather data from staff about their journeys to work and at work, this is done for a number of reasons:
  • To better understand the changing travel needs of our staff.
  • To determine if there is a business case for investing in new transport initiatives for staff.
  • For travel plan monitoring and planning requirements.
  • To collaborate with partners and Cambridge wide initiatives, such as the Greater Cambridge Partnership, to feed in to transport data from Cambridgeshire businesses.
  • To provide data to Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) for carbon reporting http://www.hefce.ac.uk/. 
 
The survey is for all University staff and contractors who are based at a University site at least twice a week. It should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and the information you supply is confidential.
