A Potential 'one off' Town Event and Bus Stop Improvements

Your Town Council are looking for feedback on a couple of topics to help members with some initiatives for 2019. This survey is very quick to do, as always your response is valued and will shape what we do. This survey is open until 12 noon on 5th March 2019.

Question Title

* 1. Uppingham Town Council has been approached by an event company to hold Food and Drink event in the autumn to coincide with Rutland Food and Drink week. The event would take place over a weekend of 2nd & 3rd November. It would be held in the Market Place on Saturday and the Market Place and High Street East to the junction with Queen Street, on Sunday. The event will be managed by the Market Square Group. Click on their name to see the other events they stage locally and around the UK. The objective is to see if this sort of event is successful and to attract visitors to support the High Street.

* 2. Uppingham Town Council has been asked by Rutland County Council to put forward suggestions for bus stop improvements. Do you know of any specific locations in Uppingham in need of improvement? Examples might be the provision of:

litter bins;

re-positioning the bus stop or;

the provision of a shelter.
