Rising Star Award |
Abstract submission
The Rising star award is intended to recognise new and emerging talents in wound care. Entry requires you to submit an abstract that details examples of good practice or innovation in wound care with a reference to URGO medical products. Following the submission deadline the Wounds UK Committee will shortlist 5 rising stars submissions who will be invited to work with the Wounds UK editorial team to produce a poster for display at the Annual Wounds UK Conference at Harrogate convention centre 8–10 November 2021. The Wounds UK editorial team will also provide full training and support on how to write an article based on their submission for publication in the Wounds UK Journal.
The 5 shortlisted star’s will be provided with travel, accommodation and complimentary passes to the 2021 conference. During the conference the Wounds UK committee will review the 5 submissions, with the award presented at the Tuesday night Gala Dinner.
ENTRY PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS
Entries are invited in the form of an abstract of no more than 250 words, which should include the following sections:

■ Conclusions or summary
Entries must be made electronically by 17.30 on 10 September 2021
