In 2023, the Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan plans to expand his Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to the whole of Greater London.

Thurrock motorists who drive older vehicles, will have to pay £12.50 a day to drive within Greater London under his plans. If your vehicle isn’t compliant and you fail to pay the ULEZ charge, the Labour Mayor will fine you £180 each time.
