Do you want to see your work featured in the Belfast Telegraph 2022 calendar and take home a cash prize?
We are searching for stunning photographs of places and faces from across Northern Ireland which will delight and inspire our readers throughout the new year. From landscapes to portraits, city streets to country retreats, we're looking for photographs which tell Northern Ireland's stories. Whether you're a professional with years of experience and the latest equipment or you're new to photography and have just happened to take an amazing image on your phone, we want to see what you have captured on camera.

The competition will be judged by a panel of experts including Belfast Telegraph editor, Eoin Brannigan, and award-winning photographer and Visuals Editor, Kevin Scott.

Our 1st place winner will have their work featured on the cover and inside the calendar, as well as receiving £500. 11 runners-up will each have their work published in the calendar and take home £100 each.

Prize Specific Terms and Conditions
  1. By submitting this form, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and consent to your data being managed in accordance with our Privacy Statement.
  2. The competition is to win publication of the entrant's original photography in the Belfast Telegraph 2022 calendar, with the 1st place prize including a £500 pre-paid Mastercard gift card and 11 runners-up each winning a £100 pre-paid Mastercard gift card.
  3. To enter the competition, fill in your details on the competition form and upload your photograph.
  4. Photographs must be a minimum of 1MB, up to 16MB.
  5. The entrant must have full ownership of their submitted photograph.
  6. The entrant must have the consent of any individuals or the parent/guardian of any minors featured in their work.
  7. The photograph should be previously unpublished and free from any copyright restraints which might restrict the publication of the imagery by the Belfast Telegraph.
  8. The competition runs from 1 October - 15 November 2021.
  9. Winners will be contacted by phone within 1 week of the closing date.
  10. Each of the 12 winning images will be held and used by Mediahuis Ireland for use in the 2022 calendar and marketing thereof. They may also be used to promote the 2023 competition.
  11. Unsuccessful entries, including personal data and images, will be deleted 30 days after the competition closing date.
  12. Those wishing to be kept informed about similar upcoming photography competitions can opt-in to receive emails on this subject and can unsubscribe at any time.
