TSSA Equality Survey 2021 |
Equality in the Rail Industry
Thank you for taking the time to be part of this important research by TSSA, in partnership with the University of the West of England.
In 2015 TSSA conducted research on ‘Equality in the Rail Industry’. Members and supporters who worked on our railway completed a comprehensive survey that our academic partners then analysed. In 2021 we are doing it again, to see what the situation is for people now and what we need to prioritise over the next 5 years. Given the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted inequality on many levels, it is more important than ever for TSSA to be leading on equality.
You can help us by completing this survey and then asking colleagues to do the same. If you are not a TSSA member, please still feel free to complete the survey. If you do not feel equality issues affect you, your experience is important to record also. All views are valid. Our aspiration is to make the rail industry a fairer and more equal place to work and an example to other industries of how trade unions and employers can work together to achieve fairness at work.
How we will use your data
Your personal data will remain confidential to TSSA. Once you have completed the survey we will work with our partners from University of the West of England to analyse it. Our academic partners are bound by confidentiality also and will have access to anonymised responses only for the purposes of analysis. Any information released from this survey will not identify any one individual.
You are making a difference!
Thank you for taking the time to do this survey and help make the railway more inclusive.
