Development of Cycling Routes in Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and Beyond
Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and our partners are looking at the development of off road cycling routes and the linking up of existing routes. This would potentially connect Muirshiel Country Park with the Greenock Cut and Rankin Park in Greenock as well as linking Castle Semple to Muirshiel Centre and out to Glennifer Braes and down to Kilbirnie allowing onward travel using the existing cycle network. This will allow riders coming along NCR7 from both Kilbirnie and Paisley safer and easier access to the new routes. These routes would link with at least 6 train stations allowing access to a wide area including ferry links from Greenock Area, Largs, Wemyss Bay & Ardrossan.
Obviously these proposed tracks will also be of interest to walkers and possibly horse riders so we would welcome any thoughts from you too.
We would value your opinion on what you would like to see as part of this development.
