Since the Artist’s Studio Museum Network was founded in 2016 our network has grown to 147 members representing museums from 23 countries. Building on the invaluable feedback and ideas from our annual colloquiums we have continued to develop the Artist’s Studio Museum Network and website. Our new website will actively encourage casual online browsers to become real life museum visitors and our new network member newsletter will hopefully become a space to share not only opportunities, but intellectual discussion. It is now time to think further about the possibilities of this international collaboration.

This survey will enhance our collective understanding of the heritage we all look after and how we operate, and form the basis for future discussion and development to shape the Network in the years to come. The survey is designed to be completed online, mostly through simple box ticking, and should take less than 30 minutes to complete. All answers will be treated confidentially; neither individual data nor comments will be attributed. We hope to use the aggregated data as the basis for a report that will reinforce the case for studio museums and the wider network. We also plan to share the findings in the network newsletter.

We greatly look forward to receiving your contributions and to developing new avenues for our network. Answers will be collated on the 5th of July.

Best,

Molly Skinner
