The Department for Education have announced that RSE is compulsory for children within the UK. We are in the process of reviewing our RSE policy. We are aware that this is a sensitive topic, therefore we feel it is even more important that we have your input on our new policy.

PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) is something we have always taught at Lathom and Altmore School. RSE (Relationship, Sex Education) is the new part of the curriculum. The Sex Education is only taught in year 6. As a school, it is essential that all children access learning from their teacher as their teacher will be able to answer any questions the children may have. Our policy is attached on our website so please read before you answer the survey.
