As an Employment is for Everyone Ambassador we are committed to:
- Employing people with learning disabilities and autistic people or offering alternative pathways towards job opportunities.
- Alternative pathways may start with volunteering or job shadowing but with the aim of leading to a potential job.
- Upholding the vision of Employment is for Everyone and promoting inclusion.
- Sharing job vacancies and opportunities with the Employment is for Everyone Team.
- Making reasonable adjustments to ensure our job vacancies are open to everyone.
- Ensuring that we have the skills, knowledge and culture to promote an inclusive workforce that is happy and where everyone is accepted and supported to do their job and achieve.
- Promoting and sharing positive stories with the Employment is for Everyone Team.
- Working in collaboration with Employment is for Everyone and their partners to ensure that people are correctly supported in work.
- This may include partner organisations providing an in-work job coach to support our organisation and the individual (this might be at the start and throughout a person’s employment).
