How to answer:
- Answering 1 to 4 requires action to improve and develop. This implies that you wish to learn the skills and knowledge to be successful in this area of development. This may require taking up basic training, workshops or development sessions.

- Answering 5 is a true average. You have the knowledge and have started to build on it. This may require development sessions or training.

- Answering 6 or 7 is a reasonable, positive, sincere answer. You recognise that you have room to grow and develop. This may require advanced training and workshops.

- Answering 8 to 9 indicates a true Subject Matter Expert supported with lots of experience. It’s not easy to be 9 as "9 is perfect”, however 8 indicates there are still areas which you wish to develop and focus on.
