St Paul’s Church Community Consultation |
Introduction
This survey is intended to seek your views on the future use of St Paul’s Church, in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, and its outdoor space. This research will be used as part of the evidence to seek financial support to deliver the Church’s vision as we move towards the 250th anniversary of the Church in 2029. Your views and opinions are important to us. This questionnaire should take about 10 minutes to complete.
This consultation is open until 31 December 2021. Late submissions may not be considered.
St Paul’s Vision
With the rapid development of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, St Paul’s represents “the centre of the village”. While a parish church and continuing to be a place of worship, St Paul’s stands for something permanent and inclusive, a welcoming space for the whole community.
A church for over 240 years, St Paul’s has a vision to be at the heart of the community in four respects:
Community - reaching out, meeting people’s needs and a place of shelter, advice and guidance for all
Compassion - care for everyone with no discrimination, no exclusion, here to help - here to care
Calm - a place for peace and reflection, where healing and wholeness can be experienced, everyone can explore the depths of their lives
Celebration - a place where love, life and creative arts are celebrated.
Data Protection
Your personal data will be confidential and used only so we can understand your views about the future of St Paul’s.
The information you provide will be protected by the Data Protection Act 2018, which ensures that the Church protects the confidentiality of data collected from individuals. We will only use the personal information you provide for our lawful, disclosed purposes. We will not make your personal details available outside our organisation without your consent, unless obliged by law.
