Birds of the Solent – Virtual Winter Talk with Broadcaster and Ornithologist Keith Betton

As we head into spring, it is always a delight to see wildlife and all things nature come to life around our South Coast Marinas and along the Solent, especially as our sheltered coastline and harbours provide a rich diversity of habitats for birds.

Join us on Thursday 25th February at 7pm and enjoy an illustrated virtual talk called ‘Birds of the Solent’. Hosted by Keith Betton, Chairman of the Hampshire Ornithological Society and the County Bird Recorder for Hampshire, he will showcase the main species of birds you can see along the Solent; from waders, herons, divers to grebes and rails, and also talk about the best times of year to spot the different migrating birds.
