SWL SPIN New to Practice Fellows Application - April 2024 Cohort

The South West London SPIN New to Practice Fellowships Application process is now open for the scheme April 2024 - March 2026.

Applications are invited from all newly qualified GPs (within 1 year) and new to practice nurses (within 1 year) working in primary care in SWL. This is a two-year programme of support available to all newly qualified GPs and new to practice nurses working substantively in general practice.

Fellows must be in substantive NHS employment, working at least 4 clinical sessions (ie. 2 days) per week.

- Updated funding means that the fellows clinical sessional rate (pro rata, plus oncosts) can now be supported for the SPIN N2P Fellowship session.

Payments will be made via employers.

Employers who are either currently recruiting a newly qualified GP or new to practice nurse in the last year are able to apply for the CPD grant on behalf of their employee to enable the GP/nurse to undertake a Fellowship. Please complete the Fellowship Employers Application Form here.
