Introduction
Dear IOM3 Member,
Hello from the Trustees of the Member's Benevolent Trust of IOM3
We are trying to find out from you, as an IOM3 member, what support and assistance you would like to see from the Trust. After all, many of you give a donation to MBT with your IOM3 subscription to boost the Trust’s funds. We’d be grateful if you could answer this short survey to aid us in defining our ongoing strategy. We are looking to understand how we can increase the amount of support we provide.
Traditionally, we have assisted members and former IOM3 employees, and their dependants where a real ongoing need has existed with regular payments. In the past, beneficiaries were visited to keep in contact with them and provide updates on their situation to the Trustee Board. We have also made one off payments to beneficiaries in financial hardship due to illness, redundancy, disability and the like. All cases are treated confidentially.
Recently, we have helped younger IOM3 members complete their studies or with their IOM3 fees when impacted by circumstances which have led to real financial hardship.
