Dear Parent(s),
All boarders whose parents or legal guardians reside abroad are required to have a nominated guardian living in England. This is a person who is able to be at the school at short notice (usually within two hours) and will look after a boarder in a medical or other emergency situation. The guardian should be a householder who speaks good English and be contactable by telephone both during the day and in the evenings. Should you have any difficulty in finding a suitable guardian, the Admissions Department can direct you to professional guardianship organisations.
