Consultation on the Scottish Social Services Council registration fees |
The SSSC, our regulatory body in Scotland, has launched a consultation on its fees which will close on 2 November. There has been no increase in the SSSC fees since its inception in 2003, and the reasons for the proposed increase are explained within the narrative which introduces the consultation. For registered social workers the suggestion is a rise in annual fees from £30 to £80 per year, after tax relief £64, so just over 100% more.
