A Questionnaire for anyone connected to a benefice church.

This questionnaire is to help us plan for the future – please complete by Tuesday February 28th.
This questionnaire is confidential and anonymous. Please be open – this is your opportunity to give us constructive feedback. We are keen to hear from everyone in your household (to complete online, they will need the web link on a different device, or to 'delete cookies' if you want to use the same device). Please encourage your children to add their own comments, or they could complete their own questionnaire. We want to hear from everyone!

If you would like to give your name and contact details there is space at the end. If you are completing this on paper, please put your completed questionnaire in the envelope found by the font or in the porch of every Benefice Church (Sunday 13th February only for Little Cheverell) and in St Arbucks. There will be a few hard copies available in each place too if you need another paper copy.

Over the past 18 months, our church buildings were partially closed because of Covid regulations. We adapted and went online via Zoom! As we move forward, our churches (and the way we 'do church') can begin a new chapter. We invite you to help with planning change within the Benefice. We look forward to your feedback and ideas and your engagement as we look to serve our community.

Please do share the link with others who may help us by completing it. We will share a summary of the feedback at the Benefice Visioning Day with Bishop Andrew on Wednesday 16th March 2022, as we look to the future. Thank you for your help!

Thank you! Best wishes and Blessings Marion Harrison and The Church Wardens and PCCs of The Lavingtons, Cheverells and Easterton

Question Title

* 1. How would you describe your current/previous churchgoing habit? Tick the one that best applies.

Question Title

* 2. Could you tell us a bit about yourself? This is in 3 parts: Age, Household type and which church you think of as being your local church.

Question Title

* 3. On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being not at all aware and 5 being very aware), how aware are you of what church services and events are going on in your village?

Question Title

* 4. 'Church' means an actual building to some people, but it means 'Christian people' to others (in other words you don't need to be in church to worship God). In our benefice, 'church' is a collection of like-minded people who seek to serve our local community.

Thinking only of church as a building, how important is your village church to you?

Question Title

* 5. Thinking about the way you receive information about what is happening in church/across the benefice, please select all the means of communication you find useful.

Question Title

* 6. Our churches aim to be welcoming to visitors and villagers. Pick up to three things that we could do better and add any other ideas you have in the space below.

Question Title

* 7. Across our benefice we aim to have a range of types of worship, prayer and reflection. Which of the following interests you? Please tick up to six.

Question Title

* 8. Message from Reverend Marion: If there is anything else you would like to share, or you have an idea of what you want from your local church, or from the benefice as a whole that you haven’t been able to include here, please add into the section below or phone/ email one of my team:
