In the book 'Is God a Populist?' Luke Bretherton says that when Christians attempt to love their enemies (oppressive governments, persecutors etc) they fall into one of three traps.

Which of these traps do feel you are prone to?

Making everyone an enemy and denouncing them (the sectarian trap).

Making no one an enemy, denying any substantive conflicts and pretending that if we just read our Bible and pray, things like racism and economic injustice will go away.

Failing to see how enemies pretend to be our friend. Allowing the powerful to claim they are friends with the oppressed and that their actions do not perpetrate injustice and domination.
