The times it takes big businesses to pay their suppliers can vary drastically. But this information is public thanks to the government’s ‘Duty to Report’ regulations, which requires large companies to publish and report their payment terms every 6 months.

These regulations are now under threat of being weakened. The government is seeking to impose less regulation. Which means less transparency and less scrutiny on big businesses with poor payment practices.

The following questions have been issued by the government in their review of the regulations. Answer them and let the government know you support keeping these regulations, which help small businesses and hold bad payers to account.

Your anonymous response to this survey will be used in a submission to an open consultation by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, and shared with our partner GoCardless. Please do not submit any personally-identifying information.
