The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has recently launched the diversity commission to support the growth of diversity in local councils. NALC thinks it is vital that local councils are a fair representation of the area they serve. The Diversity Commission has been coming up with ways on how NALC can encourage local councils to promote diversity. We want as many local councils, county associations, principal authorities, organisations and businesses to join NALC's call to encourage diversity.
