This past year has been tough, and young people have been hit particularly hard.

Studies run by the national charity YoungMinds show that many young people’s mental health has been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, school closures have led to some young people being unable to receive vital support such as counselling for mental health issues, and information and advice around sexual health.

For young people with a physical or mental health condition, or who have a learning disability or autism,  the way in which they access any continuous support they have may have also changed.

At Healthwatch North Lincolnshire, we listen to people’s opinions and experiences of health and social care services, then feed them back to the people that run the services.
This helps to ensure that the voices of the people who use services (you) are heard by the people with the power to make real-life, positive changes.

We want to hear from young people aged 14-25 in North Lincolnshire who have something to say about the health and social care services they use.

By sharing your experience with us, you can have a say in what is working well in local health and social care services, and where improvements can be made. We believe it’s vital that young people’s voices are heard and listened to.
