This questionnaire is aimed at security focal points, security managers, or HQ staff with responsibility for security or risk management of international Humanitarian organisations operating globally.

We would like to find out more about your internal security incident information system and establish how best we can support you to optimise, improve and share incident information more broadly.

This survey aims to gauge interest in joining the project in order to contribute to and use confidentially shared incident information that is then pooled and analysed for improved information on humanitarian specific security incidents.

We seek to determine the training and learning needs, as well as current gaps to support Security Focal Points to use Security in Numbers Database and the information generated for strategic decision making. The objective of the survey is to determine the content of the free capacity building (coaching and supporting guidance and tools) most needed to help individuals and organisations accomplish their programming goals, and to ensure that the coaching and guidance are relevant.

In the survey reference is made to the following:

Aid in Danger Monthly News Brief – this is the monthly incident newsletter compiled from open source data circulated through EISF and Insecurity Insight mailing lists

Aid Security Incident Statistics – this is the statistics report compiled from open source data circulated through EISF and Insecurity Insight mailing lists

Confidential Security Incident Trends / Confidential Security Incident Trends Summary  – these are the pilot reports compiled in 2015 using information from 14 contributing agencies submitted to the Security in Numbers Database

We would be very grateful if you could complete the questionnaire by 10th February 2017.
