PAYMENT PERIODS AND TERMS IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

SEC Group (Scotland) represents the interests of specialist contractors across Scotland and is made up of the British Constructional Steelwork Association, engineering services trade body, Building Engineering Services Association, Lift and Escalator Industry Association, Scaffolding Association, SELECT and the Scottish & Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers’​ Federation (SNIPEF).

This survey has been prepared to capture data to allow us to make a case to government officials that something needs to be done to ensure fair payment in our industry.  The survey also asks for your views on the use of standard forms of contract as well as the possible introduction of an Industry Regulator by the Scottish Government.
