This year marks 15 years of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). Since 2001, the SCQF has been Scotland's national framework, helping people of all ages plan their learning journey, as well as supporting and informing schools, colleges, universities, training providers, employers, national and local governments and many others.
15 years on, and with the support of the University of Glasgow, it is now a good opportunity to understand how the SCQF is used and the impact it is having in Scotland. This short survey is an important part of the University of Glasgow's research and we would be very grateful if you could spend around 10 minutes completing it.
The survey is anonymous and is designed so that all potential SCQF users can complete it - school pupils, students, adult learners, employees, employers, teachers, college and university staff, training providers, community learning workers, careers advisers, and government and agency officials.
Thank you for your participation and if you have any questions about the research, please contact either Julie Cavanagh at SCQF ( or Alex McTier at the University of Glasgow (
