Fairtrade Peterborough is a voluntary not-for-profit group; set up to achieve Fairtrade City status for Peterborough. Five goals must be met for Peterborough to become a Fairtrade City. The goals are designed to ensure as many people as possible can get involved and play their part – from City Council to cafes, business to schools, places of worship to community groups.

To help achieve Goal three we require a minimum of 38 churches and a representative number of other faith groups in Peterborough to promote Fairtrade to worshippers and use Fairtrade products when refreshments are served and a .
