Dementia Inpatient Research Priorities Survey - Round 2

The table below lists the ten most popular research priorities identified in round one of the Dementia Inpatient Unit Research Priorities Delphi Survey. Round one consisted of two meetings; one with healthcare professionals who were experts in the field of inpatient dementia care, one with people living with dementia and their carers who had had direct experience of an admission to a psychiatric inpatient unit. Responses were free text and collected via the online survey platform, survey monkey. Equal weighting has been given to priorities established in each meeting. The ten most common themes and a brief description of each is described in the table below. They are listed in a random order, not the order of popularity from round one. Descriptions are designed to be understandable for both the general public and healthcare professionals so language that caters for both groups is used.
