West Dunbartonshire Council is consulting on a rent increase for 2020/21.  As part of this consultation we would like as many tenants as possible to have a say on the rent level for next year.

Affordability is an important issue for tenants and we want to keep any rent increase to a minimum, while still ensuring we deliver improving housing services and continue to build high quality new properties across West Dunbartonshire.

We are setting out 3 options for you to consider.  All three options deliver our Housing Investment Programme for 2021:

  • 350+ new homes being delivered
  • 350 new central heating systems
  • 400 new roof coverings
  • 300 window/door renewals
  • 80 kitchen renewals
  • 90 bathroom renewals
  • 600 electric shower installations
  • 3000 smoke / fire detector installations
  • 400 external insulated render

Each year a Tenant Priority Budget of £800,000 is made available.  Spending decisions on this budget are made by representatives of tenant organisations from across West Dunbartonshire

Please read and consider the options and then vote for your preferred option.

If you want to discuss these options with a member of staff prior to voting please contact us on 01389 737697
