"Reflective practice” covers a wide range of approaches and philosophies. Yet there has been surprisingly little research into how coaches, mentors and supervisors engage in it.
Below you will find a link to a brief survey that invites you to share your preferred ways of reflecting on your practice. We also seek your ideas. It is designed for anyone who believes they do reflective practice as part of their routine, however infrequently. We are not defining reflective practice so your views are not influenced by ours! The findings will inform a new book provisionally entitled: "Creative Reflective Practice in Coaching - an International Celebration."
If you are inspired by completing this and would like to offer a contribution (from a tool of a few hundred words to a short chapter of no more than 3000 words exploring a specific approach) please contact us, David and Eve (see below). We want to create a volume that reflects the wide diversity of reflective practice in coaching, mentoring and supervision around the world and in different cultural contexts. We are looking for ideas that can inspire us all!
The survey accords with ethical guidelines for academic research. Your comments will be anonymous unless you tell us otherwise, and you are able to stop completing the survey at any point. Your information will be stored securely on US based servers and on our systems, with access to data limited to our two organizations. A more comprehensive ethical and privacy statement can be found below.
If you have any questions, suggestions or offers, please contact us using our email addresses. We are grateful for your time. Thank you very much,
David and Eve,
