By completing this form, you will provide the Discovery and Learning staff at Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park with all the information they need to organise your visit and sessions with us. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment
Groups will be invoiced after their visit for the number of adults and children that attended the education session. 

Minimum Charges

There is a £40 minimum charge for all Education sessions (£25 for groups where all students have additional support needs)

Cancellation
Please note a cancellation fee of £40 (£25 for ASN groups) is charged if cancellation is made 14 days or less before the visit unless a rebooking is made at the same time, the new booking must be within 3 school months of the original booking date.

Late arrival
On the day of the visit late arrival may result in a shortened or cancelled session. If you are aware that your group is running late, please ring: 0131 314 0324/0335
Please be aware that if the group is more than 30 minutes late to the Education Centre the session may have to be cancelled due to time constraints, and the group will then be invoiced for the additional charge.

If you don't turn up for the booked education session but do visit the Zoo/Park then our group admission rates apply, a second invoice will be generated for the additional amount.

Please print out a copy of this booking confirmation form to hand in on arrival at the Zoo/Park, which will assist in a speedy entrance.

For Health and Safety reasons children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over at all times.

On the day of the visit 

On arrival
Edinburgh Zoo: On Arrival at the Zoo buses can park in the main zoo car park free of charge. Please allow approx. 10 minutes to walk from zoo entrance to Education Centre.  At the Education Centre send one teacher to report to reception desk. Your Education Officer will collect the group from outside the Education Centre.
Highland Wildlife Park: Buses should enter via the main entrance and park in the main car park. This is free of charge and the driver is allowed free entry to the Park.

Packed Lunches
Edinburgh Zoo: There are several picnic tables and covered seating areas around the zoo including ‘The Big Griller’ located next to the Magic Forest
Highland Wildlife Park: Any of the picnic areas around the Park can be used by groups. Some of these are covered in case of rain – please refer to the park map.

First Aid: please ask any member of staff if you require assistance
