Mersey Care and Liverpool Health Partners Research Workshop

Mersey Care is a partner of Liverpool Health Partners (LHP), a partnership of twelve NHS and Higher Education Institutions across Cheshire and Merseyside.

One of the key objectives of LHP is to increase research capacity and capability in our partner organisations. We also would like to understand your views of what could be important to health research in our region. To do this, we are organising a series of Mersey Care research workshops asking staff from all Divisions to identify the research priorities related to the pandemic and separately themes in digital mental health research that we could focus on in the workshops.

The workshop will be an opportunity for all staff interested in health research regardless of previous experience or level and role within Mersey Care and North West Boroughs. We would like to engage everyone, including our new colleagues in North West Boroughs, and hear your ideas and thoughts. The role of LHP in these workshops will be to support and enable Mersey Care staff to develop their research ideas into research projects, provide guidance into funding opportunities and collaborations with other researchers for professional growth as well as to improve patient outcomes.
