Survey Information

York is now part of the Age Friendly Network which means we are working to ensuring people are able to live healthy and active lives as they grow older.  To find out more please visit our Age Friendly York webpage.

This survey enables you to comment on any public spaces in York, both internal and external, that are important to you.

We are also using the same survey to pick up on a piece of work to identify any improvements to green space (eg. a local park) and are working alongside York Disability Rights Forum and Children’s Services to ensure green spaces can be used by all regardless of age or disability. We would very much appreciate your views, including any suggested improvements.

This will take about 5- 10 minutes to complete and asks your views.

Who should fill in this Your Destination survey?
  • You have a disability or are completing this on behalf of someone (adult or child) with a disability
  • You live in York and are an older person or have an interest in ensuring the best experience for people growing old in York
  • You work for an organisation that meets the interest of older people in York
  • You are part of a volunteer group that engages with older people

Please note “older person” is deliberately not stated as a specific age as people like to self-define and we are looking for people to plan ahead for older age.
