techUK Defence Programme Elections

The role of the DSB is to govern and provide strategic oversight to the activities of the techUK Defence Programme. The board is focused on addressing the strategic-level concerns of technology companies operating in the Defence & Security sectors, acting as the authoritative voice of the Defence Programme by engaging with senior decision makers across the MOD and wider government. The DSB ensures that the technology industry is seen within government as a critical and unique part of the wider industrial supply chain, by bringing industry leaders together to find solutions to shared challenges.

The Defence & Security Board is composed of 25 representatives from techUK member companies. 20 spaces are open to techUK members of any size. The remaining 5 spaces are reserved for SME members. The 4 elected Chairs of the Defence Programme Forums also sit on the Board but do not count towards the elected spaces.
