Introduction

NEPO has adopted a common measurement framework for social value devised by the Local Government Association and the National Social Value Task Force.  The National Social Value TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) is a national standard and is going to be part of the procurement approach for the NEPO Furniture Solution.
We would like interested bidders to complete this Social Value Questionnaire so that we can form a better picture of the social value profile of our supply chain.
The questionnaire, for the main part requires a simple yes or no answer to each of the questions and (if you have the answer) most questions have a request for further data. There is no obligation to fill in any request for further information and all responses are completely anonymous.
Please note that all questions in the survey relate to social value activities taking place within the North East region within the last full calendar year – 1st January to 31st December 2019.  Your responses will enable the National TOMs model to be tailored to the specific solution and the needs of NEPO Member Authorities and should make bidding for this tender easier for suppliers.
There will be areas of social value that are not appropriate for your business to offer or that might add significant cost to the contract and this Questionnaire will enable procurement officers to identify these prior to tender documents being published.
Could you please provide your response no later than Friday 4 December 2020.
