Consultation regarding local initiatives to help adopt a whole school approach to mental health
System partners spanning Local Authority, Health, Education and the Voluntary Sector are working collaboratively to develop a programme of support to help Education Settings acquire the skills and knowledge to develop whole school approaches to emotional health and wellbeing, and embed learning. More information on this local offer will be provided in due course but we are seeking to provide a suite of services and programmes to support you.
We are still yet to fully understand the breadth of the impact Covid-19 has had on our children and young people and we recognise the immense pressures and challenges school/setting leaders have faced over the last two years. We want to ensure that as we move back into normality, settings are well equipped to support the mental health and emotional needs of their pupils and staff.
To assist with our planning, and ensure provision is needs-led, we are kindly asking school/setting leaders responsible for mental health to complete this survey, which should take no longer than 10 minutes to fill out, in order to identify existing understanding and experience in this topic across schools and educations settings in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Any questions regarding this survey can be emailed to sarah.stacey@nhs.net.
The deadline for completing this survey is 5pm Friday 20th May 2022
We thank you in advance for your support and co-operation with this exercise and look forward to sharing details of this new offer later in the term.
