1. Prize overview

The Man Booker International Prize celebrates translated fiction at its finest. This is the first year that the prize will be awarded for a single novel or collection of short stories, rather than a body of work. Both the writer and the translator will be rewarded equally for their contribution. We have the exciting opportunity for six reading groups to shadow the prize. Each group will receive a set of 10 copies of one of the shortlisted titles, which they will need to read and review. If your group would like to take part, please fill out the questions below. The winner of the prize will be announced on Monday 16 May, and you would need to have read and discussed the book, and sent your reviews and feedback, before the winner announcement.
