In 2020, the Biochemical Society launched two community surveys amongst its members and other key stakeholders to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on researchers in the molecular biosciences. These surveys revealed concerns around the future of early career researchers and the funding landscape, and have been used to help inform how we represent and support the molecular bioscience community and to contribute to our ongoing policy work. You can read more about the findings and how the results have been utilised here.
We are now conducting a third survey to assess the continued, long-term and sustained impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on research and professional practices, two years on from its emergence
This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You do not need to answer every question, and all answers will remain anonymous. The deadline for responses is 17:00 (UK time) Friday 08 July 2022.

You do not need to be a member of the Biochemical Society to respond to this survey as we are seeking views from the whole molecular bioscience community. By completing the survey, you agree to share your views with the Biochemical Society to inform our work, including the sharing of views/findings with our partner organisations and/or Government bodies if needed.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete our survey. If you have any questions, please contact the Policy Team.
